About the work unit / facility

The Rural Allied Health team within Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) delivers high-quality, culturally responsive care across Ingham, Ayr, Charters Towers and Palm Island. This multidisciplinary team provides profession-specific services in Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Pathology, ensuring northern Queenslanders receive care closer to home.

Competitive salary and benefits

  • Salary between $3030-00 – $4453.50 per fortnight (HP3).
  • 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and registration with AHPRA or professional association.
  • Identification as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (identified position).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (working with children check).
  • Evidence of vaccination against VPDs as per Queensland Health policy.
  • Ability to work across THHS sites and contribute to weekend/on-call services.
  • A probationary period may apply.
