About the work unit / facility:

The Townsville Sexual Health Service offers a confidential, Medicare-funded community service. Comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services are provided, including sexually transmissible infections, viral hepatitis, contraception (including emergency contraception) and termination of pregnancy information.

Competitive salary and benefits:

  • Salary between $38.81 to $43.16 p.h (AO3).
  • 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.

About your opportunity:

As a Patient Services Officer, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and the public. You'll work collaboratively within the administrative team to support efficient patient flow and contribute to a high standard of organisational outcomes. This role is vital in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment at the Sexual Health Service, North Ward Health Campus.

Requirements:

  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role.
  • A probationary period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
